a parking lot has access to a public road therfor in the eyes of the law all traffic rules apply, i didnt make it up so dont argue with me im relaying information read straight from the law books. how do you think the police can give you a ticket and have your car towed for paking in a handi capped zone?? cuz the police still have authority to any pavement that is open to a public roadway. dirtbikes and atvs have nothing to do with what were talking about.

Do you think thats the same down here near NYC? I didnt think they would even think of having a law like that seeing how gay NY laws are

Finding someone to sign it is another question...I'm sure someone can direct you to the release form or just draft one up yourself...good luck.

Not true...the law specifically states that if motorvehicles have access to such area and could potentially enter putting themselves in danger it is wreckless.

You have to rope the lot off with cones or snow fence. Its a loophole that can burn you if you dont do it.

Remember, cops can write you tickets when and where ever the fuKc they want, then its your job to waste several days dikking around trying to be found not guilty...

pain in the ***...

oh edit...looks like somebody already said this, i posted before i read. my bad.

my friend just got a ticket for doing a wheelie in his own parking lot......thats right his own lot and the cop gave him a wheelie ticket. when he hired his lawyer his lawyer said no prob but now the states attourney said fine we will drop the wheelie ticket and just give him a reckless instead......Legally in the state of Illinois the police could pull over every car that goes down the dragstrip and give them a reckless, or at a nascar race pull over dale Jr...........according to law there are 4 things in illinois that you could get fined for anywhere even your own yard, 1. reckless 2. Dui 3. transport of open alcohol 4.im not sure of the 4th........... it is bullshit............................FTP

Re: Stunting is a crime?

okay, everybody on here sounds like they've been watching law and order for quite a while. if the system wants to get u, it will find a way, no matter how good ur argument is. bottom line.

riding bikes and driving cars aren't made to be fun in any kind of way, according to the law. it's just a way to get from point A to point B. We're not supposed to do wheelies, we're not supposed to go fast, we're not supposed to drive with our music loud (in some cities), we can't even get a ******* while driving, for crying out loud. it can all be ticketed. stunting is a risk no matter where you do it. if a cop cites u, try to battle the **** in court and use any of these arguments. hopefully the **** will work... if the prosecutor and judge feel like letting you off.

Re: Stunting is a crime?

Its ALL poliTRICKS. Lawmakers were once lawyers.... and lawyers push for all these ridiculous new laws and regulations to get passed so they can have new ways to fill their ****ing pockets. It's true from traffic laws all the way to business laws....

At this rate, in 20 years America will be looking up to countries like china. You know why? There will be no way for American businesses to stay afloat cuz all the bottom feeders will always look for any little way to hit the jackpot.

Re: Stunting is a crime?

As a former deputy sherriff; pretty much everything you all are saying here is correct. Unfortunately;traffic stops and subsequent tickets are up to each individual officers own judgement. As we all know, there are alot of ****head cops out there that hate sport bikes anyway and love writing us tickets. Really about all you can do is grit your teeth and take it to court. Pretty much you have a 50/50 chance at beating it versus a zero chance if you just give in and pay the ticket.

Thumbs down Re: Stunting is a crime?

YES, Cops are crooked !!!! I agree, I know around here Cops will give you a ticket in the parking lot, even with the owners permission, seen it happen, fu**ing a**hole cops. I seen a stupid cop give a dude a ticket on his own property, and he lost in court, the judges and cops are sucking each other off I guess, having sex in judges office, cause they always try to throw the book at you around here, I hate the cops in this county, I hope they all die.
I know a few cops in this town (not friends with them, I just know them) they get so drunk they cant walk, and drive drunk and crazy every weekend, none of their cop buddies give them a ticket, cause they got each other's backs. Cops in my town think they are above the law, and really, who is to stop them?
Cops are dangerous man, if you were alone with a cop, and you pissed him off, he could blow your head off, and say you were going for his gun or that you attacked him, that cop would get off scott free, of course they are going to take his word, he's a cop.
From my experience around here only about 1% of the cops in this town are not crooked as fu**
once you **** them off, they target you and pull you over repeatedly, and give you bullshit tickets, I got a seatbelt ticket from a cop, while I was wearing my seatbelt, cause I had pissed the cop off the week before (mouthed off to him when he gave me a ticket). I ended up having to mount a camera in my passenger seat, and the next time the a**hole pulled me over, he asked what the camera was for, I said it was for court, and he let me go, he stopped harrassing me after that, but damn, what the hell man!
ok I am done complaining, lol
