does anyone know if u can melt the tank in kinda like the 600rr? i know the air filter is under there but i figured there might be enough room to get a little dent in it.

The gas storage is in the frame, the place where the gas tank would normally be is the air cooling system, including a fan and who knows what else.

Wouldn't say you need a chain conv. I think it would make things easier though. I have 1800 miles on mine stuntin from the beginning. I have some trouble with tight circles. Wants to chug real hard. I am in the process of converting the primary gear and chain from an XB9 into my XB12. I hear it reduces the final drive ratio by about 10-15%. The belt seems to hold up well 2. Doesn't appear to have stretched yet. I got a spare though, thinking it would have broke by now. Hope this help some. My

I've been going back and forth between wanting the 12 or the 9. I like how adjustable the suspension is, and the low models rule for a shorty like me. (I'm 5'2") If you don't mind I'd love to hear what you think the biggest differences are between the two - ride wise, and which is a better all around rider.

Are the 12s delivering substantially more grunt? I've been on both, but didn't spend enough time to make an educated decision. That lower centralized mass concept seems to be a winner, though. They both felt lighter than they are, to me, and just gave me a good center of gravity, especially noticeable at stops and slow speeds.

Do you notice the front brake seeming grabby? That rotor is huge.

Re: Anybody That Stunts A Buell

I have not yet had the chance to ride a 9. Sorry can't help there. I have read on other sites that the feelings are mixed as well. Some say the 9 is geared to perform the same as the 12. Others say 12 all the way. My feelings on the front brake setup is it rocks. Works very well.
