Re: how much should i go up in the back
well here is my prob i have the stock 532 chain and sprocket set up and the chain is kinda bad. so i was going to do the 520 conv to it. should i do the 520 and go up 3 or 4 in the back and buy a +10 rear for later?
Re: how much should i go up in the back
R1's power up in first without trying, 2nd & 3rd clutch right up...depending on what kind of riding you want to do for low end torque I would go 1 down in front 2 or 3 up in the rear...10 sounds like way too much to me..
but make sure your carbs and air filter are clean first...I run stock gearing on both my R1's but they're FI and no problems ever...
