i did fix it. plus it was an older model so i offered to send him a brand new cage. obviously the cage was flawed, but im not going to give someone their money back if they used the product. i will give anyone their money back if they send me back a cage that wasnt used. he told me he didnt even want the cage anymore, so that was that.

Correction, you offered me the same cage rewelded not a new one. I recall talking to you on the phone asking why I hadn't recieved any word or cage and you said because you had to have the rewelded cage powdercoated and your powder coater was out.That's when I said I didn't want it, who would want a defective cage rewelded? "obviously the cage was flawed" (I'm glad you can finally admit it). You also tried to give me some BullSh*t about the older cages being stronger than the new ones, thinking I would bite, but come on who redesigns their cages weaker??????????????????

actually the older cages ARE stonger than the newer cages. which is why the rear mount socket would always get stuck unless you grind it down. it was a .120 wall, the new cages are made with a .090 wall.
so you see, i didnt redesign it to be weaker, it just ended up being weaker because the install on the older cages just wasnt practical.
anyways, hope i have solved your problem.

Alright cool this thread is done. MXD stepped up and is going to send me a replacement cage. I have no qualms with Jeff or MXD as a company. I give him credit for working this out.
