Only think i'e noticed is the frame can't take a whole lot of abuse..I'm replacing my frame now as we speak.. Just waiting for it to get in..The front motormount welds cracked and i didn't get it welded up in time and it split up my frame..

How does that flaot? looks like theres something funny with the mounting bolts, is that where the flaoting action comes from? Usually they make them flaot by having a carrier and the rotor seperate and buttons holding them together but allowing them to flaot..........just like front rotors.

I bet you the fact their iron has more to do with you liking them than being floated......................Iron rotors is supposed to have great feel....

your probably right as far as the iron vs steel goes.. even braketech said the same thing.. the iron rotor gives in my opinion a much more positive feel of the brake.. i can sense the stalling point a lot easier and even take it closer with the iron..

the float does come from the mounting, much like floating front rotors with a moveable washer right at the mounting bolt... check out their website for a closer look...

Looks like there is a proportioning valve on that setup. I've thought about doing something like that for the F4i but I've not done any research on the piston size of the rear master. Interesting interesting...

Id like to know what a 320mm rotor alone feels like on the rear Never mind a 6 pot front caliper.......

Re: Lunched the Kawi!!

I let my pads wear into the meatal soo many times that my rotor is no longer flat. Its soo ****ed and thin.. So when i jump on anyone's bike that has a rear brake that actually works its a blessing.. I can't imagine what it must be like to be rocking a front brake rotor with a 6 piston calli. Thank god for winter because now im throwing a new rotor on and giving the old girl some t.l.c. .

I change my rear rotor at least once a year or so...

i highly doubt when the factory made the rear brake for these things they ever expected em to get much use, nevermind the abuse stunting puts on em...

ive seen my rear a glowing on a few freeway whulllies...
