depends on the state......wheelies aren't necessarily illegal, BUT pulling them is known here as "excessive acceleration" and riding a wheelie is known as "exhibition operation"....basically showing off

the reason it is legal in cali is becuase bake in the day all bikes where air cooled and if they did not stay movine they would over heat so bikes where allowed to keep moving my grandpa was a cop in cali yaers ago and used to be a motorcycle cop thats how he knows just a bit of usely info
