Re: How long did it take everyone to learn to stunt?

Day #2 and I got my standup 1st gears locked. Clutching it up took an hour to learn. For day 3 (tomorrow) the goal is maintaining slow standups and maby scraping the bar and some basic bar tricks. Just waiting for my cage and sprocket to arrive (cuz I still have stock gearing). I want to have circles started by the time the cage gets here (a week or two). I'll have it down by the end of the month I think.... thank you 50 riding for the head start with that back brake action :D

can already go for miles on the back wheel on my gixxer on the highway (3rd and 4th gear only). I just got my stunt bike and am on day 2 of stunts on the F4i stunt bike...

Re: How long did it take everyone to learn to stunt?

Well...I've been actually trying to stunt for only about 3-4 months now. I can do decent sitdowns in first, can't do jack in second yet because I can't get the timing of clutching/bouncing down right...they come up 2 feet and come back down. I can't do stand-ups for **** either. Tried one yesterday morning and scared myself...don't know WTF that's about...basically, I suck.

But I can admit it :YEAH

Oh yeah...and since my riding buddy got a woman and has disappeared from the face of the earth...90% of my practice is when I'm alone, on my way to or from work. Not the best way to get better, so that probably helps explain why I'm stuck in one place. Too damn hot here in Az to go practice during the day...

Re: How long did it take everyone to learn to stunt?

Well...when I myself started clutching, it took roughly an hour from the first one until I was doing it every time, and getting them pretty high.

Yea but how many circles could you do? Perfecting it isn't only 5 or 6 circles man, try at least 10 good tight circles and i'll consider it perfected.

i cant bring it up in highchair, bikes too minty to dent the tank in so i have 2 wheels on the ground, and if you saw the girls up here you wouldnt want half of them to flash you... they are all swamp donkeys!
