Maybe next time you'll wear some protection Road rash sucks but the best way to learn that is to go sliding down the higway wearing jeans and a t-shirt I wish u a speedy recovery, i did the same thing last year didn't cover that rear brake and went right back over at like 60 mph got some road rash on my knee that's about it, had boots, jacket and gloves on so that saved my *** big time. Now even when i'm only going to a parking lot i just protect myself cause **** happens and we ain't perfect.

Re: Wheelie Gone Wrong

I know your pain I went down at like 60 mph and slid into a brick mailbox and broke my hip in 2 places. Took about a month to heal up. 2 years before that I was hit head on by a drunk driver. I always wear gear though so I didn't get much road rash.

Re: Wheelie Gone Wrong

Same thing happened to me 3 or 4 months back. Luckily no road rash but did burn one hole through my leather jacket and into my left elbow, and tore my Khakis to hell. Glad your bikes not to bad, My motor, exhaust, all plastics, right rearset, mastercylinder all got f'ed up and just found out yesterday front rim is bent. Ill have it back together in a couple of weeks and be doing it again, this time with a cage. Hope you heal soon and dont worry to much 'bout the family, mine are complaining too but they just dont understand the rush.
