I did find out today it's only a Misdamener in Michigan to trasnport one with Police Freqs in it.
You are correct about the price. I got the top of the line Radio Shack Model. I do think most good trunk trackers will hit you pretty good on the price.

i talked to my bro who got a ticket for the scanner in his car, they put him on ACOD if i said that right. the next time he gets in trouble in 6 months he was going to be in even more trouble. they wanted to give him 500 hrs of community service, destruction of the scanner and a fine. with a lawyer he ended up just getting a fine and desctruction of the device.
