Re: announcing at shows that hard????

Quoting this from a different forum, easy to see that there were more than a few people that felt the same about the announcing.

The only complaint that I had was the guy "Big Chubbz" that was the announcer kept using profane language not taking into consideration that peeps had their kids there. He also kept making sexual comments to women in the stands. And one of the things that I felt took away from the stunters... While guys would be performing he'd direct the crowd to look elsewhere to women that he thought were goodlooking and making comments on them. I thought that was taking away from the guys performances a bit. But those were minor gripes. I think that this was the 1st stunt show that I've been to where the guys were TRU pros. Not just guys off of the street that are aspiring stunters. These guys were good! I had a good time and it was definitely the best stuntshow I've witnessed. Well worth $15.

Re: announcing at shows that hard????

never heard either of these dudes announce, but what about a rider bio sheet. so when the riders are out there, the announcer could rattle off a few facts about the rider? from what i gather, 99% of stuntlife is in favor of thomas so ill trust them. you gonna mc for psychofest this year?

thomas is the man..... he's been around pretty much every rider so he knows a lil about them and to me, that's a big thing! he explains the riders style and/or tricks... never a dull moment with thomas.... he just needs to lose weight and stay outta the way!!!!
