And when I see, you for instance, rockin stuff in street session and you don't have a hand brake i do say to myself "man thats pimp." But I also see merk doing mad combos in siu3 with a hand brake and thats pimp too. I just think that people should ride how they want. As long as there out there doing it its cool. If you wanna be a pimp rock the stuff with no handbrake, i'll give you extra props for that, but wether people use a handbrake or not i'm just glad to see people out riding. I also think that just cause you put a handbrake on when you have "some" rear control doesn't mean you are a squid or anything else. I don't care what order you learn rear brake in but if you want to have everything on lock sooner or later your gonna have to learn it, so who cares if you have a handbrake first or not.

Thats my thoughts anyways... but who the fu-ck am i? Jon

all of this is very true. its all about preference, i cant do highchairs or spreader yet and my throtle control isnt all that great but i have alot or rear break control, and can do some slow idle stuff. i dont know if i will ever be ready to do a highchair, that trick scares me. but does that mean i cant try a no throtle handed seatstander? i give props to all the guys that can do it with or without the handbrakes. but you got to give props to the guys that are just trying.

i agree with both of you. im putting a handbrake on my gixxer prior to learning all the slow stuff, why? because i'd rather not loop a spreader or highchair. highchairs are my favorite trick, barnone, if i had to look at highchairs like i see circles floating around then it would be all good in my book. anyway, they scare the **** outta me, but im still going to try them sooner or later. quit hating on the beginners who want to keep this sport going. everyone wants to see this sport continue and grow. i know the last 2 posts say so. so if handbrakes are the new gears who cares, its just another safety procaution that i believe in using to further my skills.

if people keep hating on others in this sport, what kind of image is that to put out there?
just my

So it will be my first time useing the hand brake. Kinda an OG to the game I wanna think I'll pick it up quick. Using the HB that is! Gonna try the GP tech thing 1st. If I don't like that I gonna get the $$$$ as$ master cyclinder.

yeah i like stock bikes for the highway to, and i could rock slow stuff with my bike when it was stock, but i got a bigger sprocket just to slow it down more and make it easy to do it. i got the handbrake so i could try some new stuff. and i like big bars on my 50 but hated the aftermarket brake levers, so i made the stock ones fit on the big bars. its all about preference. peace
