Re: bar setup

Buy billet, plastics will break constantly. Longer cables are gonna run approx. $20-25 a piece. So you'll be around $50 for cables. A plastic throttle is like $15-20 so now your at $70 for cheap throttle and cables. Just buy the five-o billet throttle for $90 that runs the cables under the throttle so you can use the stock ones and its solid so it won't break on ya.

Re: bar setup

stock cables will work perfectly fine with a big bar setup. they may have to be re-routed, but they WILL work trust me

Re: bar setup

Yeah i've heard that too, if ya re-route them its supposed to be ok. But ya still gonna have a pos plastic throttle. Just my opinion but i've seen those things break so easy and I hate to be without a fiddy for a week while I wait for a new part.

Re: bar setup

Yes that will work fine, its just a bicycle setup anyways. When I get my fiddy up and running i'm heading to the local bike shop to get a brake lever and line for a handbrake setup.

Re: bar setup

you can if you can find someone in your area
they make cables i make all my own cause i have weirdo ****
if you look in the tucker or parts books(aftermarket books at everybike shop in the u.s.a) you will find the stuff to make your own cables, the ends are just soildered on
you have to find some one that is old school motorcycles
obviously not a dealership cause they wanna sell you a new one
i cant buy cables for my old yamadawg and had to make a clutch cable the other day just snipped the wire off where it broke and soildered a new end on and was back riding in about 15 minutes start to finish and its cheaper
than a new cable, now if you cant find anyone, an xr70 ft brake cable will work just fine
