Question i need to get richer!!

I just added a whole bunch of little mods to my somewhat stocker fiddy A cdi, exhaust, and a K&N filter I am also going to ditch the choke butterfly while I am at it (joker kit) I want to richen up the mixture a little. Does anybody know how to do it on a stock carb? give the whiteboy some advice!!

Buy a larger main jet, I did the uni air filter, spark arrestor removal, a changed from a 59 main jet to a 60, and it was a lot better.

i went to a 62 main and air screw turned out 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns......just taKE THE CARB OFF REMOVE 4 PHILLIP SCREW ON THE BOTTOM... THE JET IS RIGHT THERE JUST USE A STANDARD SCREW DRIVER TO TAKE IT OUT WHEN REPLACING MAKE SURE NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN DUE TO IT BEING BRASS... YOU MIGHT WANT TO ALSO MESS WITH YOUR C-CLIP ON THE THROTTLE SLIDE ...I WENT 2 DOWN AND SEEMS TO RUN PRETTY GOOD

I got mine through the Honda dealer. FYI the xr50 jets are NOT the same as the XR70 jets. Tried to cross reference from the xr70, got the wrong jet and had to wait another 3 days for the jet. The xr50 jets cost about $7. I have the part # at home, but I won't be able to post it until Monday. If you really want the # today, PM me before 4 and I will call you with the part#.

Niner hooked me up with the part number( niner thanks man)...i don't know if anyone else is interested but here are the Honda part numbers:

pn#99101-187-0600 for a 60 main
pn#99101-187-0620 for a 62 main

I found them for $3.00 online at

http://www.ronayers.com

I got two jets for $13.11 shipped! So it would be the same or less through a Honda dealer but Ron Ayers is awesome but sometimes take a while to ship.

Thanks for the help everyone this place kicks *** my fiddy would be a mess without it
