can you weld on them??i have a small hole i need to fix...

I belive they are some aluminum alloy. If you can figure out the alloy it would be much easier. JB works well for holes.

they are cheap pot metal, welding them will only melt or weaken them... JB weld is your friend on these types of parts... you MIGHT be able to braze it witha torch adn an old wire close hanger, btu again, unless you have experience with welding/brazing , just be safe and use JB weld

i gave it to a guy at work and he gave it back fixed...sorry...i think he used a tig welder...
