do you got to be 110 lbs or somethin to scrape a 70? or do you got to be goin 20mph? I weigh about two bills and I swear it seems impossible. someone got a vid?

 

I'm about 150-155 and can scrape my 70 in first...It's all technique. Seating position and brake control. The 70's bp is really far back too...

i have a klx125 not quite the same thing but i would think same concept. just ride a nice steady bp wheelie and then push down on the brake slightly while giving it alittle more gas and let it come back, and youll scrape, staying on the gas helps keep it steadier and then depending on how fast you are going depends on if you will need to pull in the clutch or not and how high its revved. just dont be afraid to fall. i dont know if this helped but i can srape my fender and i started doing it this way and its alot more consistant for me. and then you can just clutch it real fast all the way up and back and then hit the brake hard but thats the janked way of doing them.

 

Ive can scrape my cr125 but this little 70 has got to be fu*%in 2oclock to scrape. I like your idea of givin it a little more gas while braking, I dont think I was tryin it like that, I wuz just tryin to coast it

 

you gotta be hauling *** to have the momentum to pull ya back down from hitting the fender i do coasters till im there......... your gonna crash alot getting it

I scrape my 70 and I weigh 215. It took me a dozen tries to get it, but I ended up hitting it in the top of first gear, probly only 15mph or so. just keep tryin and you will scrape it.

 

right on, im goin too slow. guess ill grab my sack and hit it up. Cant now though its fu*kin snowin here!! Bout to break out the board instead

 

you have to be crankin in like 2nd gear to scrape it without fallin

because you can balance easier but you have to be on the brakes hard

 

hey asphalt ...are you crammin the brake the whole time or just when you get over bp??

 

i have my foot on it but not really on it until i go beyond the bp
the first couple times you may not scrape it because you prob get on the brake to early but after a couple youll get it

 

this maybe offtopic but every time(im a beginner)im in first gear doing a wheelie and i shift my bike just falls...any tips on doing wheelies in different gears(give me a break im only 14)

 

Thats your problem your in first. Do it in second and use the "BACK BRAKE!". You really dont want to shift on a wheelie unless you have to.

 

are you tryin to scrape fender or a 12 bar, i think moorport was talkin 12 bar on his. as for fender i can only scrape that on the way to bustin my ****

nah, i've been working 2 1/2 jobs, OHB all day, painting at night and building 12 bars when i have free time from there. i think if it's nice this weekend i'm gonna try adn pull something off, how loud is your exhaust? hhaha

i'm thinking another 20+ mile city loop is in order, i have barely ridden in weeks except one practice day, and one day i wrecked kinda bad in the first 10 minutes and had to stop)
