+1 up front front will give you less pull/torque feeling(like the feeling your tires took away). but each gear will attain a higher MPH overall.

that's bout as simple as i can put it while sober

I just ordered a complete takegawa hd clutch for my 50 - $111 shipped. Figuring it's overkill but should grab nice when I get on it

well thats opposite of what I want.. lol thats what I bought the BB to get back. I would just like to calm 2nd gear down a notch so I dont run out of gear on one wheel and half to bring it down. I rode it some today and I was starting to get where I can slow it down by throttle & brake but im still thinking im out of 2nd gear too fast..

i was just out for a little 2 mile journey, and i feel ya on the running out of gear feeling, i'm actually hittin the rev limiter in 2nd tryin to get back on BP now and then. I think i'm letting it chase more since it's twitchyer and easier to flip, i need to just smooth out and hold a constant throttle instead of on-off-on-off-on......lol

did you get an 88 or 72 kit? seems like i'm gonna need a way smoother throttle hand to keep this 88 from kickin my a$$ in 2nd and 3rd.

i haven't put the bigger sprocket on since i'm waitin on the clutch i ordered from fab5 today, but i noticed i'm eatin some gas quick,,,,, i might throw the lil jug back on at todays prices

if its too twitchy u need more gear or u need to chose a higher gear. use 3rd if u have to. you should be able to ride second gear wheelies at almost a dead stop. 3rd gear with a big bore can pull wheelies up just above idle.

damn! I put a few hours on her today and holy ****! I'm loving the kit!! The power is pretty much perfect for the bike!! I got second slowed way down now and since you posted that about 3rd fab I started playing with it. Sure as **** just after take off from a stop in 3rd she comes right up! Also top of third wheelies are INTENSE thing is moving fast but the balance point seems so wide! Just moves right along!! next up 3rd gear stand ups!

haha glad you like it man. like i said before, i dont have too much seat time on a light bore 88. i might have to slap one together to try out. ive got alot of good reports about them for stunting.

is the light bore without the head? i used to have a 50 back in the day and i am getting one again in a couple of weeks and i want to do more stuff on it (all i did before was 2nd gear long wheelies no slow stuff in 1st) would this upgrade benifit me or should i just stick to the stock 50cc?
