WHATS WITH THE BS. 88cc kits
Re: WHATS WITH THE BS. 88cc kits
i think my post was prety clear on what my observations were. Yes i said it makes a tick and the kit without the head falls off on top end before the s-stage does. Maybe its the different cam maybe the different piston. Not one place in that post did i say it didn't run good. and where did it say that i had a problem installing it? also why wouldn't install the new piston that comes with the race head kit?
Re: WHATS WITH THE BS. 88cc kits
And yea, Powroll has been around the longest, there is certainly no disputing that, but however they are not the best for performance any longer. jester
now you say powroll isnt that much performance anymore, hehehe you havent ridden a bbr bike in a while have you?
my powroll motor runs off and hides from 88's with race heads, and its just a stock 70 head, old school non roller bearing, just cleaned the ports up,nothing fancy or elaborate,no big valves, does have a cam.50 mm bore not 52mm. So saying they dont have the performance is a duh.and my bikeis a 93 z with 8 inch wheels and the 88 i spoke of was a xr with 10 inch wheels.
4 speeds, okay im gonna tell you all the best transmission to get, a honda tranny ,go buy a honda 4 speed bottom end, throw it in your motor, itll slide right in there, add the manual clutch when putting it back together, add the clutch cover for the lever and walla ,and itll never break.save you about 750.00 bux to buy some other trick stuff you want. those takegawa trannys are scary when your beside them and you hear a big kaklunk at about 50 mph.they break .its not if its gonna break, its when.
most everything is copied from the original,i built all my stuff from other honda parts.ill do the same on the new xr 50 i just got.

ouch!!!
haven't had any trouble out of mine, skidplate lined up great, knocking? no the only knocking I am getting is reverb from having an aluminum skidplate and I am used to it now, NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL, matter of fact I am getting a race head from fab here soon.
Re: WHATS WITH THE BS. 88cc kits
Im am getting sick of reading so much blatent stupidity. I have never seen a larger grouping of hard headed dumbasses seriously. I am sick of repeating myself. If you want the truth, go back and read my previous posts.
Oh yea, just to inform you Z50National, those BBR kits are simply Dragon Racing kits that are rebadged as BBR's, most they do is throw in there own cam pretty much, sorry to let you down there. And your so full of **** on your ported 70 head 81 kit outrunning Race Head 88's its unreal. How do I know, because I have more knowledge of these bikes, motors and parts then everyone on this site combined, FACT.
But Im tired of wasting my time with idiots and beating a dead horse, you keep buying your over priced crap, but dont cry when I come flying by you with a good ol TrailBikes kit that cost half as much and the same quality, and used the extra ching I saved to buy a nice inner rotor iginition.

Game Over. This **** is going to go on forever. z50 keep spending your $$$ on powroll and supporting the good old usa(good for ya) and let it be. We all have different opinions about the kits best for us and leave it at that. This topic is 6 pages long and starting to repeat itself. Fab do you think you could close this thread?
Re: WHATS WITH THE BS. 88cc kits
I have no opinion here as I don't own any kit. After reading and re-reading this thread all 6 pages I have to concur, where going into phase repeat #3. Sorry guys I have no intentions of pissing anyone off lets just drop it and move on..
