Lowering DRZ-110 or KLX-110

Just wondering if anyone has any clue if you can lower a drz 110.

My boss is looking for a bike for his son and wants the 110, but his son isnt quite tall enough for it. So if anyone has any thoughts or ideas please let me know.
Thanks.

Just a hint that the 110 has a buch of power. If this kid can't even touch the ground i wouldn't even consider it. Take a look at the pw50 by yamaha or the pw80. It has the lowest seat height. My son loves his...... who cares about the brand it your kids saftey........... I have 2 yamaha 1 honda 1 suzuki

Re: Lowering DRZ-110 or KLX-110

im not a stunter fiveo i will be the first one to say it
never have been never will be my best stunt is crashing
and i dont think you will find on here that i have said anything different than that
now if you want to go dirttrackin or do some motard or road racing im your guy
stunting i dont do never really tried to
plano honda i have little to do with as there parts people know nadda
i drove all the way over there from dallas honda for a part, the guy actually put his hand on the part and when i got there it wasnt the right part, he didnt know the difference between a washer, which is what he had, and a clutch nut for a shadow. so no you wont see me at plano honda

Re: Lowering DRZ-110 or KLX-110

just lower the forks all the way in the tripples, cut the shock spring down, and shave the seat down. yeah its gonna ride like **** but if he can barely touch the ground he prob isnt going to be needing a ton of travel anyway.

Just a thought but is there a way to use a lowering strap or limit the rear travel? I would just lower the forks in the triple, easy/ reverseable

Re: Lowering DRZ-110 or KLX-110

if you want to spend alot of money you can send the shock and forks to works performance and they can make them shorter
we do this all the time for the crf 450 dirttrackers although it will cost you almost as much as the bike to get it done around 2k for the crf i don know how expensive for the other
