I asked a couple people if a hi flow air filter for a 04 crf50 would fit my o4 crf 70 and Igot nothin but mixed opinions. What do u guys say about this. thanks Biggie

 

man this one is a hard one to find but I did find that the stock filter elements for the stock air boxes are the same but as far as a uni or k&n i dont know and the carbs have different part #'s so I am not sure. call up a shop and see if they can tell you.

 

the carb is a different size, all you have to do is find a xr70 airfilter, duh!

Hey five0addict before you shoot off at the mouth make sure you know the facts. The 50 and 70 carb are the same size 13mm the only difference is the jetting. I was tryin to make sure that it would fit between the airbox base and the frame and obviously if it was that easy to find a aftermarket air filter I would'nt have posted this thread ................. Anyways cbxr50 thanks for the info

 

the 70 is a 16mm. ANY mx shop that carrys the uni line WILL have one, its not that hard. i think the venturi size may be the same, if so ANY xr50 airfilter will work.

the 70 has a bigger carb than the 50. you werent smart enough to get the 50 over a 70, so i dont expect you to know much about the size of the carb
