Re: cam in stock motor

yes it will make a difference, just get a touring cam (.244 lift) and a cdi.
www.crowerpower.com can make you a cam for exactly what you want.

Re: cam in stock motor

careful on cam selection. a cam designed for a 88cc will not run for **** in a stock motor.

1 cam in a stock motor
2 an air box mod
3 pipe mod
4 buying a cam from a place that wants your old cam come on.
all the due is sell back your stock cam with a little grind work done to it
stay away from mini hacks the companies are just ripping you off

Re: cam in stock motor

u are an idiot lol
cam in a stock motor, yes, it lets the motor rev higher because of a higher lift and duration. the cam is what CONTROLS THE ENGINE!!
airbox mod?? works great for the price, so whats wrong with that?
pipe mod?? definetly makes a difference, if nothing else just for a different sound. lol
crowerpower.. hahahaa, you dont have to send them the stock cam, but why not? its not like its worth anything, or your going to want it. a little grind work??
nevermind.. you dont know what your talking about,

Re: cam in stock motor

yes five0. i played with 88cc cams in a stock motor. ran like **** no matter what i did.

five0addict is right. there are cams available for stock motors. just dont see em or hear of em too much due to the fact that a bore kit is so cheap in comparison to the power output. the best bang for the buck is a TB 88. i dont think anyone can argue with that. unless ofcourse you buy a chinese 110.

Re: cam in stock motor

every lil bit helps and itll help a lil not as much as you think
itll either give you a lil more grunt or a lil more top end depending on the cam you choose you can do the same thing with a countershaft sproket
smaller lil more grunt larger lil more top end
weed you cant argue with that boy he knows everything and everyone else is stupid
