Help! Removed upper/lowers now won't start?

Can't seem to post in the help and how to section
I've been dealing with this for about 4 days now and am stumped. 03 F4i, minty fresh and never a prob starting until this past weekend when I took all my fairings off, plugged everything back in and it won't fire up. Turns over like a champ and I can smell gas so I'm sure it's something I've not plugged in or plugged in wrong and hope someone else had this happen too.
I'm pretty meticulous/organized and didn't like rip the fairings off or anything and anyone that knows F4i's knows the fairings are way easy to remove. All of the connectors are unique and can't be plugged in wrong except the one that goes to the upper and I believe the other is for the rear lights (not sure about that one). The connectors are the same but obvious which ones go where because of the wire colors. I may have hooked this one up to the wrong mate originally. Could that have done something? I checked the fuses under the seat and all are good. Even plugged the upper back in and nothing.
Don't seem to get any codes on the gauges and the only thing I notice is as soon as I turn the key on (not turn it over) the tach goes to near max and back but I don't remember if this is normal.
Any ideas guys?
It's supposed to hit near 70 here and that's after 2 snow falls already. I want to ride!

the tip over switch is in the headlight so if its not plugged in or disabled it wont start. and yes the tach cycling up is normal.

Awesome! Thanks guys!

Sooooo, how can I disable the tip over switch so I CAN run without my headlight? Putting dirtbars and Acerbis on.

Found it! Jumpering it sounds easiest IMO

Thanks Juca thread! That thread has awesome tips for bike set-up!

You can either take it off of your stock headlight and remount it on the bike somewhere.
Or you could do what i did make a jumper out of just a piece of 14g wire i got at autozone. Then take the jumper and put it from the red to green wire inside of the connector and just tape it to the harness.
you can also clip off the Connector twist the red and green together and tape off the white all by itself. Either way you will have to do something with being the bike will not start without it.
