Cool cbr600rr or Gsxr600

i will be gettin one of the 2 very soon. i like the cbr600rr' design(muffler placement) and power. the gsxr600' is slightly more comfortable and the white/blue is tuff(but i see it everywhere). true its my final decision. but i was just checkin other riders opinions. looked at R6 and ZX6rr but both felt to wide or tall(5'7) so i wont need feedback on those even if R6 is said to be best. thanx!

i should but considering i'm in the cycleworld every other day sitting on them, its not going to happen. also the dealers don't have a clue to how much or whats going to change. i'm leaning towards the cbr600rr so far. thanx

yeah i have a 01 gsxr 600 and i have no complaints although the new 600rr are looking pretty sweet. think of it this way, if you lay it down the tank wont get hurt.

I think i'm going to go with the CBR. unless someone hears of the o4 Gixxer puttin the muffler in the same spot. i really like that look. or something else that would make it stand out.

Well to list a few:
Cycle World - May 2003 - "600 Supersport Shootout"
Sport Rider - June 2003 - "600 Shootout"

Just so ya know the seat height on the Honda is actually taller than the R6....but I know you said "feels too high". The R6 is also the lightest 600 at 386 lbs dry / compared to the cbr at 412 lbs. Oh and the R6 is actually faster from 0-60 by .1 sec.

I'm not trying to change your mind bro. Get what you like, because in the end it was your money and you're the one that's going to be riding it. I just wanted to answer Papa Kev's question.

the Kaw felt tall, the R6 felt way to wide. Gixxer was perfect, but i like the Honda as of right now even though the back sits up alittle higher. man i got all those mags and just got the Super Streebike and that's one of the best i've read. hopefully they will make it monthly. i'll drop an email and maybe it will help out. gotta jet, the wife is going with me for the first time to the cycle shop to see what i've been up to for the past 2 weeks. thanx for the feedback guys, oh and wish me luck!!!
