I don't know about other years but if you're looking at 2003's get the R6.

1) it's faster than the Honda f4i
2) it's more comfortable to ride
3) it was rated the best 600 in 2003

If you're going to only use it for stuntin then get the f4i b/c that bike deserves to be dropped over and over again.

I'm kinda in the same boat... I'm leaning towards a '99-'01 R6, but I love the looks of the '01 CBR 929 RR...

I've never ridden a street bike before, but I do have experience on dirtbikes (I'm an offroader)... would a 929 be way too much bike for me since I'm just starting out?

this bike will not be used for stunt at all, but for weekend transportation while I'm at school next year

oh yeah, I'm gonna be in humboldt county california, where the weather is either raining or drizzly 40% of the year... will having the bike stored outside in that kind of weather mess up the bike at all if I keep a cover on it and air the cover out after each rain?...

sorry about all the questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks...

Ride Red brutha. Honda's the one. Pick up a cheap 929 or 900dub with junk plastics. You're not gonna keep em clean long anyway.
