Got her back!!
Got her back!!
In the middle of the night on Wednesday, the KC Tow Lot called to tell me that they found my bike.
I called them back later to get all the info. The police officer also called me later that morning.
The Officer saw someone riding it in "downtown" KC. He pulled the guy over. He put my kickstand
down and took off running. The officer lost track of the thief. The damage that I can see to the bike
is drilled out ignition, cut wires, tank is all scratched up, and he drilled out the keyhole on my
gas tank. I towed it to my local dealership. Im still awaiting my appraiser so I dont know how much
damage was done to it. Hopefully, I'll found out today or tomorrow. I pretty sure im out my $500
deductable. Which sucks. Because now I have a 2 month old bike that has been stolen, plus im out $500.
Such is life I suppose. Thanks for all your guy's help and support.

congrats bro! better that you got her back in one piece than having to deal with insurance people low ballin' ya over the total loss and dealing with all the paperwork to get a new one (coming up with another down payment and everything sucks ***)
hopefully you'll just pay the deductible to get it fixed and put it behind you.....just some friendly advise, sleep on the damn thing from now on!
even though mine's in the house, i still attach a string to the rear sprocket and run it up the stairs into my room and snug it to my nuts....that way im sure to wake up if its moved! jfwy
good luck!
