HELP cam chain install went bad!

HELP cam chain install went bad!

installed new cam chain adjuster, started bike and it barely ran, now it won't even start! anyone with a f4i help

When you ligned up the cam gears, did you make sure that the gears were in the intake or exhaust stroke of the cycle?

Sound like the timing is off. Top Dead Center of the compression stroke on cylinder one is where you want it. You'll need to pull the valve cover to see when the valves are closed to find TDC. Get a manual line up the timing marks. You'll also need to pull off the stator side cover to find the timing marks. Not a big job just time consuming. Take your time it'll be running in no time.
