losing gas during endos
just wondering if anyone else loses gas through the overflow hose when doing endos...i just noticed it today when i was practicing that i leave a line of gas behind me????....im sure its just casue the bowls r overflowing but was just wondering if this happens to anyone else
not because the boiwls are overflowing. The bowls shouldn't over flow to the top, in fact, the bowls should only overflow out into the tube if it's upside down. Usually the bowls are vented to the airbox, and it flows out the water drain in the airbox. What's happening with you, is your tank vent is filling up with gas out of the top of the tank. Pull your endos with like 1/2 tank of gas, and see if it still happens. No way to solve this,r eally, since you have to have a tank vent, and the gas is going to slosh no matter what. A race cap might help, but that'd be it.
I know that some people here use open cell foam to stop your fuel from splashing.
It's mostly used for modified cars and stuff.. hi-perf car shops should have some scrap pieces you can use to fill your tank with.
You lose next to no capacity... and you don't get splashing when breaking, accelerating... or in the corners.
