02 gixxers and up?!?!?

I've just gotten some not so good news about 02 gixxers and up bike....

He is my neighbor and he's been riding for who knows how long...soits creditble, anyways down to it....He told me than all 02 gixxers and up, once they get passed 35,000 miles they soon die out after....

Is this true or just in some cases or juust an old mans folks tale???

or just all bikes die after 35,000????

Never kept one that long. Get around 15K on it, order a new gauge cluster from the factory.... unhook the batter when you change out, and it resets the milage to "0". Ride the bike for a couple thousand after that and sell it with "low miles". No worries........
