yes, closet stunter FOR SURE.
here's the problem with %90 of the 1000RR.com guys views. they say WE are giving sportbikes bad names, and WE are going to get sportbikes banned.
THEY don't want to get blamed for what WE do.
but what THEY don't realize, is THEY are blaming US for what a select few do.
EVERY SINGLE STUNTER knows the difference between a 2 foot power wheelie, and a 5 mph slow wheelie.
the 1000RR guys don't, they see a kid pull a power wheelie with shorts on and some flip flops, and they instantly assuming it's a stuntrider.
they assume we are all about speed (which is fine, cuase that's what most of them are about too, or they wouldn't be riding 1000RR's)
but again, they DON'T know the difficultly of seat stander circles, or just a 5mph idle wheelie, or a coaster.
and the fact of the matter is they WILL NOT SEE IT until they do those things, which they won't.
quite frankly, because they are scared. they see are fuct up bikes, and they don't want thier bikes fuct up.
that's cool, whatever makes you happy.
but they all gotta realize, they are the pot, and they are calling the kettle black.
we ARE NOT a bunch of 100 mph power wheelie maniacs(just they how the 1000RR guys don't want to be seen as a bunch of wheeling fools), odds are 90% of stunt riders would rather be the guy doing the highchiar circles infront of a crowd of thousands at a stunt comp, instead of doing a 65 mph stand-up down the highway.
however, it takes time and skill, so for the most part they stick to what they are good at

WORD! I cant do the 5mph wheelies YET...stress yet... much rather play in a lot than play for the 5-0...(need a second bbike) but def props on this statment... no offense to the liter stunters but those guys on that 100rr site might as well die their hair gray and ride a gold wing
Re: Superbikes petition
Isnt this just like blaming music for people being violent?? We get a bad rap sure and a lot of the time its justified, however we are not going away, and that stupid @ss petition is just going to make people mad and divide riders even more. Complaning without a solution is just *****ing, so quit *****ing and offer a solution rather than "ban those stunters". If you have to start a pettition (and yes they are gay..) why not petition for the stunters to have their own show???
I mean lets be honest here, bikes have been around for a long time and people have always been scraping knees and racing, but never has it had the publicity or held the general public's interested the way stunting has. This only reinforces that.
So thank you mr. pettition, I guess we will see you around the track, but dont get too mad when the people in the stands turn around to watch someone pull a 12 in the parking lot and that it will later consume their conversations, rather than the monotanous drone of the same guys going around and around and around....

custom bikes, visits to custom shops, lifestyles of stunters, stunt shows, competitions, bike shows and bike nights
theres too many events and cool *** people in our little niche in the industry to have that show covering the BS it has been

i disagree.
aslong as it's "EXTREME!" or "TO THE MAX!" young poeple will watch it.
even those without motorycles themselfes will, if it shows things they cannot do themselfs, or dangerious.
your first statement is like saying poeple would rather hear about what kind of bike evil kneivel is riding, than see him jump.
but the fact of the matter is, the poeple who DON'T do it (the great majority) don't give two ***** about the bike, they just wanna see him jump, and maybe even crash.
that's just my opinion tho.
Re: Superbikes petition
from reading most of those replies on 1000rr i am led to believe that they are the type you see on the road in their dominatrix leathers that don't even bother to say whatsup to you when you pull into the spot next 2 em. they just look over and smug. like because we ride different, were less than them, or don't love riding or don't know what its about. so to all them i say FVCK YOU YA ******!!!! bottom line is we all RIDE. if you carve corners cool. if you rock 12's cool. bottom line were all ridin on 2 wheels and we should stick together not fvckin start pettitions to take away from the other.
Re: Superbikes petition
i dunno i think banning the show is dumb but i do miss 2 wheel tuesday. it may be sweet for us to watch the stunting but like someone said earlier i don't think the host should be the one doing it half the time. i dunno there's so much shiiit being said about sportbikes that nothing anymore is good for the image. i wouldn't worry about that just don't be angry at knee draggers either i try to do both stunts and i try to haul *** through the twisties and both take incredible skill and balance to do well. i may do wheelies but i also call my friends a ***** that can't keep up with me on a brand new r-1 cause he's afraid to slide his **** off the seat some and let the bike do what it was made to do in the twisties. yes everyone should! keep it on the track but i can't afford it so i take my chances elsewhere. we are all here cause we push the limits in one way or the other and i think that is what this site is about.
