Do you guys that run real low gearing run 520s or what? All I see on sprocket specialists website is 520 size sprockets and I already ordered a 525 chain.

 

yeah there's a lot more in 520 size
you got boinked on the 525.
Especially if you wanna go big
525 is like 62 rear
520 is like 77 rear (deep dish or hand tossed)
anyway send that 525 back and get a 520 if you're doing the chain right away!

 

Who make a 62t 525? I think I'm just gonna run 14-45 with the 225. What do you think about that? I didn't realize that my bike was already 1 down when I bought it. It still feels like it's geared way too high though.

 

Sprocket specialists you can download their catalog thats' for a gixxer though. But I know that is avail for your bike too

 

I run all 530's and have no problem finding sprokets !

 

if ur stunting and clutching u gotta go with a 525 or 530...

my friend has a 95 RR and he runs -1 and +4 from Vortex and runs a DID erv 530 chain....plenty of gearing

 

same here, im running 530 and have no problems finding sprockets..

 

I ran a 520 at the being of the season. Munched that Biaaa Biaaa like real quick. Either stay with that 525 or go up to the 530.

 

I've been running -2 +2 525 with no problem. I guess if I ever want to go lower I'll just switch to 530.
