Chain Replacement

I am planning on replacing my stock chain in a bit, but while looking over the stock one, I can not seem to find a masterlink anywhere. I assume stock chains have them, but otherwise I will just cut it off to replace it.

Does the stock chain have a master link? If it does I am blind.

The bike is an '01 ZX-6R.

Nope, there's no master link...the stock chain is endless. Just grind the rivets off on one link and pry the side plate off. Make sure you replace your sprockets at the same time, or you'll wear the chain out alot quicker.

I just replaced my chain on my 6R and went with the d.i.d X-ring. Awesome chain and only about $120. You will want to invest in a chain breaker/press. You can pick one up for about $16.
