need help with wiring

need help with wiring

i have a 2000 929 i just got some lp short stalk 3 and i dont know how to wire them they have 2 wires and the bike has 3 wire in the front from the factory can anyone please tell me how i need to wire them thanks

I would imagine you just identify the wire that is your running lights and tape it off. I am a gixxer owner and they don't have the running lights. Some aftermarket turn signals have the running light option . I had a pair on my gixxer. I just did't hook up a wire to that lead. good luck , mike

get a tester find your ground,after finding the ground turn on your lights,test each wire the one that dont have power is what you need,then turn your blinker on then test the dead wire,it should have the test light flashing now,good luck

I bet your turn signals flash in hyper mode now, too.

That's because the running lights aren't on and there is less resistance in the circuit.

If you want it to slow down, you can wire in an appropriate resistor or you can get DUAL FILAMENT turn signals instead of the single filament ones you bought.
