Go ahead and test it out.
A common search for "motorcycle" used to take 90+ seconds and gave any thread that had the word "motorcycle". Because of the long wait we used to limit 1 search every 45 seconds.

Now with the new search feature that we just implemented you can search "motorcycle" and you get results results in a fraction of a second.

Searches are returned by most relevant and most current. This way you're not digging up old threads unless you really know what you are looking for then you'll still be able to find them.

Plus there is now only a 10 second limit between searches, which in my mind by the time you get your results and read through them you should be able to do another search right away.
