my crunchy got rear ended - need advice

got rear ended by a car on the way to work

broke a few things but still sorta rideable

question, would i get away with putting my previously smashed gauges back on and getting it replaced in the claim?

bike currently running a 'fighter light with out the original gauges

by the looks of your avatar, you have a really sore neck and should be taking at least 2-4 weeks off work!!

For starter not posting this SH*T on a public forum for others too see
If ther police were involved with the accident and they got photo's or a discription on the damage/accident then i would be carefull swapping things over. You can get all the info from the police report if you go the your local cop shop and fill out a form asking for the public access of info form your accident. It comes down to if the guy is going to go through his insurance company or if he will pay you out??? If its insurance then get the assessor to look over the bike with "ALL" the broken parts and go from there
