Whats your favorite kind of jump?

Re: Whats your favorite kind of jump?
step ups, step downs, triples with just one step so that you cant see the landing, and theirs nothing like hitting a freestyle ramp at half the speed you would a similar dirt jump and flying high

Re: Whats your favorite kind of jump?
Whatever gets me in the air, I like. I usually prefer natural, or jumps made to use a natural landing. Also, jumps where you HAVE to tweak it a bit. Step downs are fun to, like right out of turns, tweak it a tiny bit, and you think your about to land, but yo go over a hill and keep floating..Thats always fun, though it gets a bit sketchy.

Re: Whats your favorite kind of jump?
Ahh this thread. Since my last post I cleared this naaaaaaasty 120' triple/stepup/table top type deal.
you come down off two table tops into a vturn (like 120*) and you have a short run at this uphillish kinda tabletop thats about 55 feet or so. At the bottom of the landing which is down hill basically is another smalll landing. No taller then 5 feet. All together from take off to the lip of the landing is about 115-120'. You don't even really know it's there cause you just ride off of it when doing the table. So I HAVE to go for it...all of it. First day we tryed (me on the 125, and my friend on a 250f) we're casing the **** out of it, flatlanding from about 20 feet up. Can't get enough traction even starting off the track, railing it third gear. Sooo second day I'm there it's drier, less people, and not as messed up on the lip. So i pull off the track and take off. Sliding all over until about 25-30 feet in front of it and finally picks up traction in third gear, preload it and just sail. Nailed it nice. You take off, fail over the first landing and see the 2nd, and you're just holding on at this point waiting to land. You don't know if your going to make it till you turn around to do it again because the landing is so small and you dont know if youre going down or not.
That's definitly my favorite jump. Scary, and very dangerous, but the crowd I had going and the comments I heard, along with the feeling of accomplishment made it all worth it. Can't wait to go back and hit it again. This was at blue diamond MX in new castle delaware on the ATV track..

Re: Whats your favorite kind of jump?
my favorite jumps would have to be the infeild and the old grandstand step-up triple at el cajon mx. the triple was 80 feet to the landing , which was flat, so me and my friends would go fourth tapped on our 80's at in and land in the flats, so it was about 100 feet to where we would jump it, and the infeild was fun because it was around 90 feet with a blind landing, and we jump over slower kids to pass them.
