how to get started and where to ride
Hey everybody
I really want to get into fmx and I found this site and decided to check it out. anyways i was wondering how did u guys all get started? did u just build a ramp and start jumping or did u go to a place that had a ramp and learn there?

First off welcome to the site. I'm new to the site also. The only way to really get into it is to go ride, tracks , local ride spots ect. DON"T TOUCH A RAMP at first. I turned pro in 2000 and have seen all kinds of kids get hurt because they don't have the bike skills nessesary to jump the jumps safly let alone do freestyle. Go to riding schools and just ride ride ride. Good luck.
