Re: Am I too big?
I understand, and thanks for trying to help. But like I said, I cant really afford to buy a huge bike like the ones that you listed. So Im thinking that Ill just sell my yz, and mod my 400ex. Ill wait for the new dirtbike untill Im on my feet after high school. Seems like the best way to go, except for just saving the money from the yz. And da*n! 900cc dirtbike, thats a frikin monster! Ill have to look into that.

Re: Am I too big?
Ahh, I tell you, I am a dumbass. Ive been sittin here talkin bout selling my quad and my dirtbike, just to buy another quad. Then I realize, a trx450r will cost about as much as a new dirtbike. So...If I sold both, and could still only afford a 250, would that haul my fat *** around? Or would it struggle to? I mean, I see all these 160 lb guys ridding fiddys, so a 250 should carry me just fine, huh? I could probably get about $1500 for the bike, and $2500 for the quad. So thats $4,000 right thur. Maybe a used CRF450? Im not much for the look of the XR bikes. I like the racing look.

A 250 two-stroke will handle your weight fine. My bro has a KX250 and he used to weigh 280 lb. It all depends on what kind of power delivery you want. Yea, a four-stroke has more torque, but the two-strokes wind up so much faster. Check out Recycler.com for used bikes. You should be able to get a mid-90's 250 for around $2000.
