i actually have a question (no surprise) hehe...this is mainly about the riders though....for the passengers- is it helpful to the driver for the passenger to keep one hand on the tank and one around them...or both on them...or both on the side of the bike(i've seen some do that) i noticed that it was helpful for me to keep one hand on the tank because i don't go forward as much when we stopped...but what about leaning into turns, i've read many things about how passengers should not lean, and some say they should. i just made sure i was behind the driver and didn't fall over. lol. it was fun either way! :helmet for the bikes......how many miles to the gallon?? let's say for a 98' RR...and what's so helpful about fuel injected stuff.....i'm not that great when it comes to mechanical stuff with bikes... i'd like to learn though.

OK , just put your hand's where you are comfortable . fuel injection is better in one aspect because it is steady fuel and very responsive .carb's have more play in them and sometimes be better for some trick's . not all of them . just my 2 cent's .

what does everyone else think????

As a rider that has carried a lot of passengers I can tell you that when stopping it is great if the passenger puts their hands on the tank, that way they don't push you forward. Other than that it is just a matter of where the passenger feels most comfortable putting their hands.

As for miles per gallon on a 98' RR I would usually get about a little over 120 before I would hit reserve and that was with some pretty hard twisty riding too. Now that my tank is dented and I stunt ride mostly its varies.

[/QUOT when you let more exhaust out , then you need more fuel .it starves for fuel when you let more exhaust out. same if you put a high flowing air filter . tank's D
