There was a thread a while back about these cheap *** chinese xr/crf50 knockoffs showing up on the web and ebay and the question was "at what price do these become an option" I thought I remember some ppl saying "3 or 400 bucks or so"

Here's the one I could import. It's a 110 actually with disc brakes. But it would have to sell at $800-900 to even be worth it.

 

A friend of mine just bought one off ebay for like 60 bucks but has to pay 150 for the shipping, still a good deal I guess.

I bought one about 2 months ago. I got the 70cc with a 4spd. Search for the seller DASS selling knockoff 50cc's. He has a much better description about the differences between the generic and the crf's. as far as mine goes, it is definately NOT a honda, but still a very decent bike for what I paid for it ($549 shipped). The forks were hella long so I chopped 3" off of them to make it not look like a fuggen chopper. I had to get a new rear wheel for it since the stocker loosened up and got bent to hell and back. The stock tires that come on them are ****. Really hard and they are "tubeless" so trying to get one off is beyond a pain in the ***. The engine runs great and has tons of power. The stock exhaust that comes on them is way too loud so I bought a stock xr pipe which fit with a bit of work. Overall I'm happy with the bike and don't wish I would have spent the extra 500 on a real 50.

 

I've seen jeredr's fiddy, and it seems like a good deal, **** I'd buy one and part it out on ebay, and double the money. A little bike is a little bike

 

Well **** I'm impressed! Thanks for the info guys. Didn't think anyone had boughten one yet! haha We got a couple stores that opened up over the summer that carries stricktly pocket bikes and mini-choppers and everything if I found one at one of these places for around $350ish I will probably buy one just to see what there all about.. It's kinda nice to know they are not complete ****, gives some people that may not have the cash for a real honda an option atleast...

 

the only difference besides the price is, the knock off wont be around 30 years from now
the honda's will still be spankin booty
