My mom just told me we're going on vacation tomorow night to Long Beach Island (NY or NJ?) and I was wonderin if anyone has had any experences with police down there or has ridden fiddys on the island. I'm not really into the beach much, so I'm bringin my BMX bike and probably my fiddy. I know the entire island pretty good so I figure stay off the boulevard and I'll be OK?

What I'm worried about is a ticket. Are the nice enough that they'll tell me to walk it home or will they fine me and be ******** like in my town? I don't plan to get caught, but if a cop gets me I don't want to be payin money for it.
