The other night i was comin home from my friends house got about a half block away from my hose and i see cherry's.. half hour later i ended up with 5 tickets and no fifty... the bastard wrote me for defective muffler.. driving while suspended.. no headlight..and no insurance.. and improper registration.. that f'n sux... its my second offense of driving while suspended.. so now getting my license back is in the very far future man it sux so bad.. i hate cops.. i wasnt even doing anyting wrong really, just riding home.. o well i guess

since when do u need a license to ride a 50?? u got hosed dood. get a lawyer. improper registration?? u got plates on it?? no headlight?? never came with one.!!

 

in NY I can't register my fiddy for anything but off-road use. And tickets on an offroad vehicle don't effect your drivers license unless it's a DWI.

 

Get a lawyer and all will get dropped and maybe you will get some dumb BS driving a off road vehicle on the road. TRUST ME.

I'd say to try and prove it's a moped but then you could still get tickets for some of those things so just go for the off road vehicle thing.

been there and done that twice...aressested in city with impounded fiddy ...cost me about 1200 bucks...and about a month ago a car hit me on my fiddy got 24 stitches with no insurance and mad tickets with a second impound, bent bbr forks, bent rim.....cost 680 doctor, 215 impound+lawyer...any way all in all lawyers help soo much ...got me out of everything with just a 250.00 fine......hope he is that good this time around...now my fiddy only sees dirt no more wont even look at street...

My buddy was ridin my 50 around at 5 in the morning kinda drunk ended up wrecking hardcore, broke his right arm they had to plate both the bones in his arm and put 9 pins in each bone, broke his nose, almost tore off his left pinky and rashed his face up, they impounded it and it cost $130 to get out.

 

"mini-bike on a public road" i drove my pocketbike down a four lane road (yes it was dumb) and got pulled over by a state trooper. Five minutes later their were 3 town cop cars their along with the state trooper. We had no insurance, reg, headlight, none of that stuff and i ran a block from the trooper even. We each got "riding a minibike on a public roadway". $50 fine plus court costs. Get a lawyer and truely FTP

 

i just got out of court today for no registration headlight taillight ... told the judge they couldnt be registered after about 4 court resets .. came back today told her i sold it so i couldnt register it .. all i have todo now is show proof of sale and they are all dismissed .. can we say fake bill of sale

Whats all this no registration, insurance BS?

I have mine registered with a headlight, taillight, brakelight, mirror and State farm to protect my *** at a cost of $117 a year full coverage which I feel is money well spent, so I can now legally rock the streets hassle free. The cops really look at me until they see the plate.

 

i talked to a local cop here in MI the other day... she was pretty cool. In michigan it doesnt matter if its an ORV or anything... points are points and tickets are tickets. She answered alot of questions and to my surprise even knew what a was. She even said that if you got ahold of a pricky cop with a bad day make sure you come to court with an attorney. Sometimes even the cop doesnt show which is a win for you. just my
