Fiddy endo help

I'm getting better at wheelies but my endos suck. Can you guys give me some advice. Right now I cruise in 3rd, give a little bump on the seat and pull in front brake, then I attempt to keep it smooth but usually it comes up starts to drop, i pull in again and it comes back up, but by this time i'm stopped. Can you give me some advice on seat position, how your brake is set, what speed and how to bring it up?

Jon

I would suggest starting with barely into 2nd gear. Work on normal stoppies but getting to the balance point. This way your speed is slow enough you should just be able to jump off.
Once you get these down well.
Start trying 2nd gear pinned. These and third gear rolling endos hurt really bad when you wreck. I have flipped two already and both have come up with bloody shins and I always wear pants. Last night I worked on my rolling endos with my full gear on. (jacket, riding pants, gloves and a helmet). I would do third gear about half way to topped out or so. The best I got was about 30feet. Then I got waaaay too hot and took the gear off and went back to 2nd and slow third!
Endos rock for the showing off but hurt way too bad and are embarissing when you wipe!!!
Although take all of this advice at face value since I have only owned my Fiddy for a little over 4 weeks now.

Re: Fiddy endo help

This might sound dumb, but try doing them crossed up

Your weight is already forward so you won't have to lean so far forward when you grab the front brake. JUst watchit though, not TOO much front brake. The backs of your shins (quads) will probably hit the bar when you come down and you will yell "OWWW!"

I guess if you go TOO far over all you have to do is hop off and you're fine, not like you'll get catapulted over the bars. Just jump out of the way, the fiddy will FIND YOU !!!! He he

Hug the tank and practice, practice, practice. If you have a twelve bar, your back will get tagged sooner or later, it hurts. Endo's are the hardest to learn, 12 tailscrapes are easier than endos IMHO.

LOL thats true, with my wheelies I have to work on side to side balance I can only go for a block or so. But I've already been able to scrap the tail and bring it back a few times. But my endos still suck, I need to put my gear out and just go for it......

Re: Fiddy endo help

So do you guys think its better to sit way forward on the seat with your knees under the bars or is it better to sit back on the seat. I've found it comes up easier with your knees under the bars but its alot harder to bail if it all goes south.

Re: Fiddy endo help

The bounce method helped me alot when I was trying to learn endos. You bounce the front end like you're trying to do a wheelie, but it has to be all one motion.
