Help I broke my fiddy

Well I was out working on standup wheelies today. One foot on a back left peg one on the brake. I was in the top of second and it just go away from me. I hit the ground trying to run but couldn't keep up and went sliding, got some nice road rash on my shoulders and ankle.

Crappy part is when I walked over to pick up my fiddy the throttle grip just fell off, broke at the throttle cable disk. So i need a new throttle. I am planning on assembling some bars using spare bmx bars, and xr70 clamps. My question is what should i order. Do I just need a slightly larger throttle tube like the one fast50 sells? Or do I need the tube and the brake perch and switch etc? Help me out so I can get back on the road asap!

Re: Help I broke my fiddy

Come on guys I need some help here. I'm now debating on wether to buy a big bar kit instead of trying to piece one together. I figured that assembling a kit may be only slightly cheaper than buying one. I figure $20 for the clamps, $30 for the bars, $100 for the throttle w/perch, $10 for the cr kill switch, so theres $160, might as well spend the other $20 for the bbr kit. If I do make my own kit do I need to buy a throttle assembly like one that fast 50 sells or can I just use any old motorcycle twist throttle? I want to get all this stuff ordered so hopefully I can be riding again by the end of the week.

Re: Help I broke my fiddy

One thing I noticed is that alot of those big bar kits, pro taper, bbr, red baron, all have plastic throttle tubes. After seeing how easy my stock tube broke I really want a billet tube. Anyone know if the billet tube that fast 50's sells will work with other bar kits?
