Re: 50 Stunt extended barke arms

i have no idea what the **** is going on, i took the arm off, adjusted it 5 times, put the cable back on the top each time and the lever goes right to the bars. Put the handbrake cable back on the bottom and it worked better but deffinatly doesn't lock up, not even close...time to call ryan i guess

Re: 50 Stunt extended barke arms

The handbrake pulls in good, doesnt hit the bars like this. I put it back this way cause with the foot brake on the bottom it just doesnt work. The brakes will drag real bad and the handbrake will pull in all the way.

Re: 50 Stunt extended barke arms

I had foot brake on the bottom hand brake on top... Hand brake was almost all the way in and foot almost all the way out (On adjustment).. You want the lever as tight as you can it should not have to be anywhere near being pulled to the bars for the brakes to lock up...

Tighten up the hand brake by the wheel as much as you can... Wish i was closer and i could explain better... But your problem is how loose the hand brake adjustment is

Re: 50 Stunt extended barke arms

I got it to work. It was the shitty *** kitaco pads i put on there, took those off put the honda pads on and it all works good now. Footbrake on the bottom, hand on top. Im not sure exactly what it was but i took it all apart, re-cleaned it, re-sanded the pads and drum, did the brake mod same as i did on the kitacos and re-assembled. Locks up, not as good as i want it too but i will make adjustments when i can actually start riding it harder. The kitacos were brand new, hondas have maybe 4 hours on them. **** it cause it works now!! Thanks for all the advise and help, just turned out to be something simple....******* chinese pads

Like any pad they have to get really hot and then cooled over and over before they will work very well... Its kinda hard to break them in fast on a 50 if you ask me Good to hear you got it working though do work
