2nd or 3rd Gear Wheelies

What gear do you guys usually pull wheelies in ? I can do both but 2nd is more easy but I run out of RPMS eventually.

Another question, when riding second gear wheelies (or Third) I can't keep the same speed, I'm always going faster. How do I keep the same speed @ all times, do I need to keep the wheel up higher ?

yup gotta get the front up more, you havent hit the balance point yet, its possible to balance the bike using only throttle but it helps alot to learn how to use the rear brake to control the height,, get too high give it a bit of brake and slows you down as well as keeps you off your ***

I use the back brake but only if I think I'm going over to far. I mean I can ride a wheelie for a long ways but I'm always gaining speed and eventually I run out of power. I guess I need to get the wheel up further and use the brake more with less pressure if I want to maintain the same speed.

You can wheely the best in second, but i like first the best. getin them slow balance ones. jus keep practicin and get that balance point down and you'll be do third gear coasters before you know it.

I was out practicing my 3rd gear wheelies today and it was the first time I got the front wheel high off the ground and rode it for awhile. 2nd gear is still my best. My method is just giving it gas and leaning back. In 3rd I lean forward and then gas it and lean back to help it get up easier.

sit further up on the seat. When i first got my 50 I was sitting to far back. You don't want to lean to far back either you want to sort of lean forward looking over the fender. Hang it up there with the throttle and just keep it up balancing back and forth with your head. It takes some pratice like anything.

I've been trying to nail circles for a few nights now in first. I got 2 full circles the other night but it's mad tough.

Any circle tips?
