got a big problem with my crf70 head install ( intake manifold, filter, needle)
got a big problem with my crf70 head install ( intake manifold, filter, needle)
ok i bought a crf70 head, piston, cylinder and carb with filter from this guy on here. I installed everything but the carb and the intake manifold. When i got to that the BBR bar kit that i bought for the crf50's needle and cap didnt fit on the crf70 head. When i bolt up the carb theres no room for the throttle needle to fit also the air filter doest clear but are too high. What do i need to do? Does bbr make another throttle cable to fit the crf70 carb, and 2007 crf50 bars? Also what can i do about the clearance even if they do make one? There is no room for it to fit. I dont even think a angled manifold would work for the throttle cap and needle. Someone please help asap!!!

i installed a crf70 motor into a fiddy, first loose the stock airbox and get a foam filter, i never lifted my tank up, may be a good idea but wasnt necessary.

so how did you clear the tank for the needle and cap? That thing is like hugging it on mines and i'm trying to use the stock crf 70 carb. No longer forks nothing. Just stock.

it takes a little work to figure out. forgot exatcly what i did, but it works! u might have to disconnect the carb and putthe needle screwed into the carb then install the carb and throttle wire onto the head together.. if that doesnt work try taking ur tank of then hook it up then put ur tank back on...
