How transferable are fiddy stunts?

I'm looking to get a 50 for me and the Girlfriend. For times Im not able to get to the lot, I plan on cutting up the complex on the 50, but I was wondering how transferable the tricks are? I know the bikes are two different animals, but it's somewhat similar I take?

The girlfriend is just beginning and I want to get circles down and figure we can tool on this for those want to leanr tricks while bored at home.

I figure this can at least get me in the right direction, am I wrong?

Re: How transferable are fiddy stunts?

Afterwards , you're gonna hop on your big bike and go , "Damn this bike is so heavy !"

But seriously , i seen SytfuRR get really good on a big bike , quick , after he started on a chinese knock-off fiddy .

And there was another dude that posted a vid doing nice standups after he killed it on a fiddy , and Towlieee did pretty good with the transition .

I think you'll hop on a big bike , and be less afraid to get the front wheel higher .

I got the whole bringing up the front to balance, no problem. Could work on brake control in the lot.. But I have the feel for the big bike, just curious if I can translate tricks.
Thanks

Re: How transferable are fiddy stunts?

some things transfer and some dont.... like the throttle and brake control are different but it helps you get the concept better. same with some tricks.... like circles between the two are way different but it helps get the feel of body control and what it feels like the cut a circle to short or highside out

I swapped back and forth from 50 to f4i. I think they both helped build skill for each other. and much needed confidence.

The ONLY problem is have with my Fiddy. Is the fact that when i get off my FIddy and get back on my big bikes. I tend to wanna treat my big bike like its my Fiddy, LMAO........And thats a no no, because the 954 will slap u in the forhead if u talk too much ****, LMAO.....=-)

Re: How transferable are fiddy stunts?

lol been there! I'm usually at full throttle coming up on the fiddy but on a big bike you can only imagine what happens next!

Re: How transferable are fiddy stunts?

BP's on 50 are tiny with more side to side action. I go back and forth from 50's to f4i and r6 and like others have said, throttle is a biggy when your talking differences.

All in all, I'd say it helps. Especially if you're just starting. It will get you used to BP's in a safer fashion. Just dont get too throttle dependent on a 50 and take it to the big'uns.

Riding is riding and the more you do on no matter what the better you'll get.
