How do you keep your Fiddys Running at 12'oclock? help please?

SO my 12 bar finally came in, and installing it was a snap.. only problem im running into now, is the bike floods and dies if its at 12. How do you guys keep this from happening?

Gas leaks out of the vent tube and the bike just chugs out and dies.

I can ride wheelies all day long at BP, but it does not like to be at 12.. So any help from you guys would be appreciated. I REALLY want to be out practicing!

Thanks In Advance!

its gonna pour gas no matter what. you can try turning the pet**** almost all the way off. and go full throttle when you hit the bar and itll stay running longer but itll still flood out.

3rd gear wide open allways leaves me half dead let alone what it twists and bends as teh bike goes tumbling down teh tarmac hahahaha

mid 2nd is about the fastest i'll hit mine and i've had it on forever.... one thing that helped me to keep the bike running was to lower hte float height and then re-jet teh bike to run witha lower amount of fuel in the carb... i can scrape 12 mid thottle for a ways before it starts to sputter,,,then i just hold it pinned untill it cleans back up and runs right again or i fall off

in this vid.. you can see where i jsut slide around on the bar in 1st sometimes, then you can hear it sputter out before i pin it and then it clenss up .... it's about halfway through the vid

i lowered it by 1.5 mm ... not sure teh height from the carb base.. i just turned it upside down, measured from the edge of the float and then bent the tab till i was about 1.5mm higher ( or when the carb is right side up it would be lower)

but after doing that i had to raise teh needle and adjust the mixture screw a little to get it back to running spot on

There was a thread at fiddylife about this too. It was said that installing a fuel filter would solve this problem. Here is the thread.
