using a tube with lotso patches
using a tube with lotso patches
so i am waiting for the glue to dry on a patch, no big deal..
but as im pulled out the tube i realized that over the course of time ive patched this thing about 9 times.
anyone else ride a hella patched tube besides myself?
i suppose i should invest in $10 tubes rather than 10 $5 patch kits.:YEAH

Re: using a tube with lotso patches
i patch em till the valve stem breaks off or they rot and crack... you get like 5-6 patches for 2 bucks at teh hardware store...6 dollars for a tube ... if i'm in a hurry sometimes i buy new ones, but i'll eventually patch teh old ones andkeep them as spares... i maybe have one tube with no patches out of 6 tire/tube combos i have
Re: using a tube with lotso patches
ive never patched a tube in my life. when i pop a tube i just fill it with tire slime and it never leaks again. i go through tires faster than tubes cause i do a lot of rolling burnouts.
Re: using a tube with lotso patches
still haven't tried the slime yet.... not sure it's friendly with my aluminum wheels... i know your normal fix-a-flat will corrode the hell out of aluminum wheels.
guess i could always put some slime on some scrap aluminum in the garage and see what happens over time
