Decent fiddy to start from?

I know that chinese bikes are built cheeply but I'm just looking for a basic platform to start modding from.

What are your guys' opinions on these two bikes, keeping in mind that a lot of the common parts to have break I would be replacing/upgrading.

Well dude , i can understand trying to save money , but using these knock-offs as a platform for modding is a bad idea .

A common problem with knock-offs are weak frames .

Another thing is those bikes you posted are WAY different than a fiddy . It's the size of a crf 70 . So aftermarket parts are probably slim to none .

If you bought a knock-off the size of a CRF 50 , some main 50 parts brands might fit .

Did you realize that the shipping for those bikes you posted was $349 . Even if you won the bid for $350 , the bike is still gonna cost $700 .

To me that is way to much for a chinese knockoff . You really have no idea what this company is like (business wise) . You are trusting them to send you a bike that you already no is bad quality . It's not worth risking .

With that kind of money you can go buy a brand new Honda 50 .

If that's the size of bike you want , Honda clearance '06 models should start happening soon . Go buy a CRF 100
