honda probably the best..i think yamaha and kawi are making them too...probbaly just as good as a honda

The only real difference is the name change. from 2000-2003 it's called an XR. Starting in 2004 they changed the name to crf. The plastics are slightly different, and that's about it.

Damn man you caught me off gaurd..

..I think plastics differ slightly (crf look better), maybe forks a little longer on crf, and shifter on xr has a rubber piece and crf doesn't...I think

At least you get an all aluminum frame/swingarm better than stock forks and rear shock, Disk brakes front and rear and wheels and tires. And you can buy a china 125cc motor for it for 300.00. So you have 1400.00 at most into a fifty thats all done up.. you can't beat that.
